Angela Knock is the Founding Director and Principal Designer of Plan It Green – a Canberra and Southern NSW based building design practice focusing on environmentally conscious homes that complements today’s way of living. Angela believes that this can be achieved through smart design focused on creating quality spaces rather than quantity of spaces.
Angela’s ultimate aim is to create homes that are as sustainable as possible, which allow people to live in a way that best suits their family and lifestyle and caters for their needs now, and into the future.
She designed and help build the first hemp house in the ACT which was completed in February 2018. This project has been featured in numerous media outlets including The Canberra Times, WIN News, Today Tonight and Weekend Sunrise.
Angela is the current ACT Vice Chair of the Building Designers Association of Australia (BDA) and was awarded the 2016 BDA ACT Building Designer of the Year. She completed the Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) in July 2015 with John Champagne and Permaculture eXchange at Caroola, NSW.
