Rachel Pontin did her PDC at Fair Harvest in Margaret River in 2013. She’s been concocting herbal potions and designing cubbies since childhood, and discovered permaculture in the university library when she was supposed to be researching fine art. She now works as a

Project Officer at Green Skills, runs the Great Southern WA Plastic Free Facebook group, and has written a book on affordable sustainable

living called Shoestring Sustainability. She has 15 years lived experience with Non Violent Communication and has attended over 20
