The Grand Permaculture Tour

DATES: leave afternoon Sunday 22nd April 2018 return late Friday 27th April 2018.

There is the option for early exit on most days by train.

This Tour travels north of Canberra to mature permaculture sites through Southern Highlands then down through Kangaroo Valley and Berry, then north to Gerringong and Kiama and Wollongong then back to Canberra. Key sites on this tour include Earth-Keepers, Jill Cockram, Silk Farm – a 25 yr old  Permaculture Food Forest, Community gardens and city farms and co-operatives.

COST: $100 per person per day [excludes accommodation and evening meal] includes transport, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, guided tours, in-depth permaculture discussions with Permaculture elders, guidebook, optional short guided bush-walks and night-time activities. Help is available to arrange your accommodation. Each night we will stay in a village and eat at a pub or eatery nearby where you purchase own meal. Numbers limited.

YOUR GUIDES: April Sampson-Kelly and Paul Kelly have been researching and practicing permaculture for over 25 years and live in this beautiful area. Paul is an international eco-engineer and April is a performer, designer, author and illustrator. Both are passionate about science and permaculture.
